Now...a story of a simple band that started one night at party


It was a night in january i think...my mind is too shot to remember......well anyways it was january 2004 or 05...cant remember that either...... but I was at a party that this guy I know was holding. his band was playing so i came to check it out. one of my good friends bill simms was the guitarist/lead vocalist for this band so when i was there i asked bill.."wanna do a song?" bill said "SURE!" and then we whent up on the stage and we played "shes nubs" by NOFX and it was a good time...im pretty sure it sucked because we just did it out of no where... but i was too lost in the moment to notice... from there me and bill said...hey... wanna start a band? so we did that with the help of his brother Chad and our friend scott. scott was only in the band for a little while. he showed up to about 2 or 3 practises and i guess he quit... then we were down to a 3 peice. we waited for a while to find a new person fill in for scott and then i asked my other friend Julian AKA Dewie to join he said YES MAN! dewie was our guitarist for the best part of our lifespan but then one sad day he came to us and gave us some sad news that he was moving and he thought it was best for him to quit the band. so now dewie was out and we were short a guitarist. what to do in a situation like this? find a part time fill in of corse! so we got a guy we know named steve to play guitar for us during a concert in may. we did pretty good and thats where we picked up most of our fans. now we were still on the look out for a full time guitarist and we had all summer to find one because of us being on hiatus for the summer. so we took our time and what do you know? the guitarist from my favourite local band the embarrassments offered to play for us. patty o'lantern said Dudes? you guys need a guitarist? I'll do it! after that we were back in! and now awaiting for fall to start working hard.
